Original Synopsis for book idea

Our character is seen to be confused, troubled, maybe an insomniac. The video starts off with the book being opened, or opening (evil dead style?)
And our character jumping into the page (literally jumping)
He is greeted by why appears to be a blank set of lined paper, scratching his head he grabs a pencil from his pocket and appears to start drawing something. What we see is an old gramophone, badly drawn which he then kicks and the song starts, he smiles. He then continues to draw a window and a door and the room begins to take shape. Pulling the blinds open as he sings and dances along to the song we see a beautiful sunny day. He skips off the page.
Entering what appears to be a windy field/park with lyrics blowing past him along with clouds and birds. He is now wearing a coat and scarf. He continues on to the next page where he is greeted with another blank page, he shrugs takes off his coat and puts it on the floor, it falls away and he shrugs again. Just as he is about to take the pencil out a small stickman walks up to him holding a candle. He begins to warm himself up on the flame and the camera takes a fats zoom into it. We are now in a red/yellow world inside the flame, the character appears again dancing and singing. For around 20 seconds (maybe less) he then jumps out of the candle and lands in what appears to be an alleyway, dustbins line it and a stray cat runs past. The character looks around and reaches to grab a newspaper, cut to the newspaper page and the main headline read the lyrics, the camera moves to where the picture on the front page should be, there is nothing but a blank box until our character is then seen walking into the frame. We then zoom fully in to see him looking around again. A hat (with the word press written on a note sticking out of it) and trench coat fall from the sky and the character is seen picking them up and putting them on. He feels around inside the pockets and brings out a note pad (reporter style) the camera cuts to hands holding the note pad and once again the character can be seen running into the frame. He has what appear to be no clothes on, a black line hiding what would be there. He looks around and then at the audience covers his mouth looks down in embarrassment runs off and then comes back into the frame of the note pad with a towel around him. We then see him run off again and we pan back out while the ‘reporter’ writes down some lyrics which then blur off into the next scene whereby the character is standing back in the original scene. This time he looks around, takes a few steps, takes out a rubber and erases the room. Then slowly erases himself. The last scene is a book dropping onto a floor.
